Probably wouldn't come back but it is cheap so I guess for a cheap evening meal where you can eat as much as you like it would be good for some.

The beef stew was very flavourful HOWEVER twice I bit into something very hard and had to put it into a napkin.

I'm very torn on what to actually rate this place. The food I tried was all over the scale.

Meat was average at best, it was soft which was a bonus but again very bland.

Deserts were the average deserts you get at a buffet and nothing special.

My friend and I went to Kitchen Workshop last night. The food is great but the service is Excellent! The staff are friendly and very helpful, the best I have had for a long time. As for the food, there are just too many to choose from. The saffron rice has mussels and prawns, the beef stew, lamb chops and fish are some of my favorites. The desserts section has many varieties that we cannot sample all. Kitchen Workshop has a great setting and atmosphere. A great way to have a cheap dinner night out with 5 star service!

The staff were quick to clear tables etc however I didn't appreciate having someone watching my every move while putting food onto my plate. I felt very judged and I know it wasn't due to taking too much as I didn't enjoy enough of it to keep piling it on!

The thing is I am not a big eater and I usually get quite disappointed by buffet all you can eat options. I also detest the off putting greedy and wasteful behaviour it tends to bring out in some. As far as these places go it is okay. The roast is quite nice and some of the salad items are good but hot vegetables at the carvery are limited. Why you would have cold peas at the salad bar but no hot ones with the roast meat is anyone's guess. Seafood options are limited in variety and you have to pay extra for a limited allocation. Personally I didn't think it was worth it so I stuck to the regular offerings. Even though I don't have a sweet tooth so I wasn't going to cry about it, dessert options weren't all that appealing and not much to choose from. I did have some chocolate soft serve but did not like that there was an odd vividness to the colour and it left my lips stained. Weird. If I was at the Cas with someone who really wanted to go here I would but otherwise I would probably check out other options.

Salad bar, plenty to pick from and all looks and tastes fresh. The soups were delicious and the breadroles were soft and tasty.

The mains however I was very let down by the mains, the pasta was the only thing I actually enjoyed eating. The potatoes were bland even though they appeared to have seasoning on which was strange.

Good value if you just want to have a meal with variety at a cheap price.
