  Very poor quality food for price. I'd expext better food if i was at a food court. Hugely disappointing.

  There was a good vibe in the place and it looked and felt like a high class restaurant. The staff were efficient but by no means friendly. We felt really rushed no matter how much we tried to slow them down. The food itself. Well it was Yum Cha. And that is by no means a negative comment. It was tasty and there was plenty of variety. But in Melbourne with all the choice, it just wasn't amazing. It was. Well. Three stars...

  Went to Lucky Chan to celebrate our anniversary, we were ready for some quality asian food. I kid you not the quality of the food may have been a little better than what you get at food courts in shopping malls, for the price paid it was a real downer. The staff was staring at us and talking among themselves (it was getting a bit uncomfortable). The restaurant was not busy, probably for the above reasons. However it was a nice restaurant and setting, so they get a star for that. Would I go there again? Nope!

  There is nothing wrong with the food here. But is it value for money. I would say not. We have done a few reviews of places and eaten cheap and eaten expensive. This felt expensive for what we got.

  Food is sensational. Pricey yes, about double the price of suburbia. Only come if you can appreciate fine cuisine. Service was good. I went on a Saturday night and sat on the veranda.

  This was one of those experiences. Melbourne has a lot to offer with Asian food whatever the price tag you want to pay.

  While the restaurant has no control of what is going on outside i fell its important to mention the helicopters. They were relentless and didn't give us time to enjoy conversation. If I'd have known I'd have asked to sit inside.

  I left with great memories of my dining experience here. Great ambient lighting and comfortable interior. Yes the pricing is a little on the high side but to be expected being in the Crown Melbourne. Food presentation and taste was great and the staff and facilities also good.
