  12/12/17. We dined on a late Tuesday afternoon to enjoy a delightful seafood platter for two. Explanation of the meal was vague from the door staff but the waiter was very knowledgeable and experienced. Large prawns were the main attraction with multiple small plates of various seafood delights. including oysters from different regions, calamari, salmon and others that tasted refreshing and tantalised the palate. Each was accompanied with finely sliced salad, pickle or spicy compliments to the dishes.

  My colleage visited the place on a Thursday night after our meeting. My colleague and I had the steak (chips included) at the waterfront for approxintely $44 - $48. The steak was cooked to requirement...well done for my colleague and slightly pink for me. The steak was slightly chewy.

  Way over priced for below average food. Tough calamari, marble sized oysters, just warm pasta. Very good steak its only saving grace. When waiter asked how meal was and advised below par no offer of compensation. Been to plenty of fine dining restaurant in Melbourne and this isn't one of them. Won't be returning.

  Service was pleasant....i did read other customers experiencing poor services. I think it depends on the waiters working that day/ night.

  Very disappointed! Good looking bar/restaurant but very bad service. One waitress just chatting all the time to either customers/ staff with other customers waiting for her to finish her conversation. Was waiting for my dessert for more than 30mins. I’m pretty sure the staff forgot my order but when we asked one waiter was rude and another waitress gave a lame excuse. Lots of good places in Melbourne. Don’t go to this one!

  Amazing food, amazing service, great range, can actually cook steak properly to the amount you requested, an unfortunately rare skill these days. The seafood is so fresh. We eat there every time we are at Southgate.
